Welcome to January’s Updates

Hello Everyone!!

We’ve made it through January, so I thought how about we see how you’ve got on and I’ll bring you some updates from the month!?

How do you do January? Do you hit it full pelt – new year, new goals and all that? Maybe you hibernate and have been glad that the 97465345 days that seem to make up the month are now behind!?

Or do you take time to restock, plan and replenish, ready for growth?

I do the latter. I really do love January! There’s been lots of reviewing what I’m doing, planning upcoming events, updating my marketing materials, dog walks and quiet nights!

I’ve just designed and sent my updated brochure to print! What do you think?

When it’s back from the printers, I’ll share with you and update my website so you can see it there!

PROUD PRESTONIAN HERE!

I’ve had a great time this month with Preston North End Community and Education Trust Senior Leadership Team! And what an honour it is to be working with this Charity that serves my own community of Preston! Such a Proud Prestonian here!

PNE C&E Trust are travelling through the STRENGTHSCOPE Teams Map with me. We started with their CEO, Tom Drake, having an individual Strengthscope Profile and a Debrief to EXPLORE how his Strengths show up (and make sure he was a fan of the approach) before extending this out to his Senior Leadership Team

The Team then came together for a Team Workshop. They built on the FOUNDATION BLOCKS of what they understood about themselves and their Strengths as an individual, to how this ENRICHED them as a Team. With their Strengthscope Profile they were able to explore and reflect on how their COLLECTIVE areas of Clear Strength and Drain were showing up in the work that they do. It really was dynamite! The energy in the room was contagious!

And the feedback was so humbling. Words such as INSPIRING, PROGRESSIVE and CELEBRATION! They did this! What a Team! We packed in sessions that helped them identify and feedback on one another’s Strengths, work as a collective as a Senior Leadership Team and have sharpened CLARITY about their Team OBJECTIVES, PURPOSE AND VALUES, North End Together – Enhancing Lives and Our Communities!

Don’t take my word for it. Here’s a TESTIMONIAL from their CEO, Tom Drake:

“Strengthscope has been fantastic for the management team. The training has allowed us to spend time as individuals and a team to focus on our strengths, what makes us unique and how we best use them for the benefit of the Charity. The profiles and debriefs allowed us to digest and reflect on our strengths and how these were demonstrated in a working capacity. Following this, and arguably the most impactful aspect of the training was the team workshop. Spending time as a team reflecting on what energised us and how we encourage peak performance across everything we do. Helen was a fantastic facilitator who was enthusiastic, constructive, and supportive in her approach throughout. I would certainly recommend Strengthscope for you and your teams.”

Warms this Prestonian lass’s heart

Working from one of the Directors Box was a treat too! Unbelievably serene!

AND FINALLY FOR THIS UPDATE

Just this afternoon, I’ve been pulling together a session that I am offering to some PR Gurus, helping them to understand their Strengths and how they want them to show up. It starts with self awareness and noticing what looking at your very best, looks like for you!

I thought, do you know what, how about I share one of our exercises with you!? So find yourself a bit of quiet time and space and give this a try. Just to get a sense of what that Zone of Peak Performance looks like for you – then replicate it during your day:

Have a think about what do you look like on your best day!?

You’re in your flow, things are going well, right from the moment you open your eyes!

When they come along, you can bat away challenges like a Teflon Caped Superhero!

Who are you working with?

What are you doing?

Where are you?

What’s going on around you?

What can you see, hear, smell, feel, touch?

What is it that is giving you energy?

HAVE FUN WITH THIS AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Wow! This Update was packed wasn’t it!? Thanks if you were able to bear with me and get to the end!
